Joint implementation of the “Lu Ban Workshop” project for win-win development of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative

JV “Asia Trans Gas” LLC donated computers and office equipment to the Tashkent State Transport University in Uzbekistan within the framework of the “Lu Ban Workshop” project implementation

 

In order to further improve the quality of implementation of the "Lu Ban Workshop" project in Uzbekistan, on December 21, Tashkent State Transport University hosted the inauguration of the Center for Education, Research, Dissemination of Engineering Practice and Innovation Projects (EPIP), as well as the ceremony of donation of modern computer and office equipment to equip the university's research laboratories. The event was attended by JV “Asia Trans Gas” LLC (hereinafter referred to as “ATG”).

ATG General Director Liu Zhiguang spoke on behalf of the joint venture during the event and noted that 2023 is the 10th anniversary year of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative. Chinese President Xi Jinping at the opening ceremony of the Third International Forum on Cooperation under the “One Belt, One Road” initiative proposed to jointly promote landmark projects as well as “small but excellent” projects for the welfare of the people, among which “Lu Ban Workshop” is one of the landmark projects to promote Uzbek-Chinese cooperation in vocational education in China and Uzbekistan. As a key company for energy cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, ATG comprehensively supports the development strategy of “New Uzbekistan” proposed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, takes various measures and plans to actively promote the implementation of “Lu Ban Workshop” project in Uzbekistan, contributing to the profound and practical promotion of the “Digital Silk Road”.

At this event, ATG donated computers, printers, furniture and other educational and office equipment to Tashkent State Transport University for the amount of UZX 500 million, and plans to further donate equipment and devices for the university's laboratories. The aim of this project is to create a platform for high quality vocational education exchange between Uzbekistan and China. Through a combination of basic training and practice, students from Uzbekistan are provided with opportunities to promote entrepreneurship, employability of Uzbek university graduates and the development of highly qualified technical specialists, which are essential to ensure sustainable socio-economic development of the region.
