The Mid-Autumn Festival, celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar, is an annual traditional Chinese festival. This is a special time of year when, according to Chinese tradition, families gather together, make moon cakes, make wishes and enjoy the beauty of the full moon. This holiday symbolizes unity, harmony and the fulfillment of deepest desires.

On September 17, 2024, a bright event was organized on the territory of the head office of JV “Asia Trans Gas” LLC to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. As part of the celebration, a teleconference with BMGMC was organized, which allowed to unite Uzbek-Chinese employees in a single celebration. During the event, a culinary master class was organized to make moon cakes from unique ingredients specially delivered from China. A special zone was created for making and tasting Chinese tea in the best national traditions. In addition, a corner filled with seasonal fruits was created, symbolizing the bounty of the harvest and the joy of the holiday.

In his speech, Mr. Liu Zhiguang, General Director of JV “Asia Trans Gas” LLC, noted that the Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for family togetherness. Knowing that Chinese employees of the Company are far away from their loved ones, we gladly decided to come together to celebrate this Festival in the circle of close colleagues, in the atmosphere of unity and harmony of our large and friendly Uzbek-Chinese family.

Mr. M. Azizov, First Deputy General Director, noted that the joint celebration of national holidays of China and Uzbekistan contributes significantly to the development and strengthening of ties between our countries.
